Shumagin Supply Co. was built in Sand Point, Alaska, for the work, the weather, and whatever the village has going on.

We’re starting with Area M apparel and goods because this fishery is more than a place on a map. It is what Sand Point, King Cove, and False Pass rely on. It supports boats, crews, families, local businesses, and the Native communities that have built their lives around the water for generations. Without a strong fishing industry, our communities would not survive the way we know them.

We believe in sustainable, science-based fishing and in speaking up for Area M when decisions threaten the people who depend on it. We support AYK communities having healthy salmon returns, but we do not believe Area M fishermen should be treated as the main cause of declines when there are larger issues affecting salmon across Alaska. Our fishery deserves honest science, real transparency, accountability from the Board of Fisheries, and a meaningful voice for the communities living with these decisions.

As Shumagin Supply Co. grows, we want to build more than apparel. We want to create fishing and deckhand gear, net-mending resources, community-focused designs, local humor, workwear, and a place that helps support local artists and makers.
